Huskers Post Fourth-Highest Score in the Country on Senior Day

Lincoln, Neb. --- Led by three individual titles and five season-high team event scores, the Nebraska men's gymnastics team scored 425.550 on Saturday night against Minnesota at the Bob Devaney Sports on Senior Night. The Huskers' season-best score is currently the fourth-highest score in the country.

The No. 6/7 Nebraska men’s gymnastics team welcomes the fifth-ranked Minnesota Golden Gophers to the Bob Devaney Sports Center on Saturday for its final home meet of the season. The Huskers are looking to avenge a 400.750-396.700 loss to the Gophers in Minneapolis, Minn., earlier this season and top the Gophers for the first time in the regular season since 2011.

15 Huskers Named to Academic All-Big Ten Team

The Nebraska men's gymnastics team produced 15 Academic All-Big Ten picks, announced by the conference on Wednesday. Nebraska had the most honorees across all men's gymnastics teams, coming ahead of Penn State (12), Minnesota (10), Ohio State (10), Illinois (eight), Iowa (seven) and Michigan (three).

Epperson, Stephenson Earn Individual Event Titles Against Iowa

Iowa City, Iowa --- Austin Epperson and Anton Stephenson proved their All-American status by claiming individual event titles in the Nebraska's competition against Iowa on Monday night at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Epperson claimed the titles on floor and parallel bars, while Stephenson placed first on vault.

Season-High Team Score Gives NU First B1G Win

Lincoln, Neb. --- Led by several season-high team and individual scores, including total score (418.350) vault (71.40) and pommel horse (69.80), and three individual titles, the No. 7 Nebraska men's gymnastics team snatched its first conference victories of the season on Saturday against No. 5/6 Penn State and No. 9 Iowa at the Bob Devaney Sports Center. The Huskers placed first with 418.350, while Iowa finished second (413.500) and Penn State ended in third (409.600). Chris Stephenson led the way for the Big Red with an all-around score of 83.50. Kyle King claimed the floor title, earning a 14.65, while Antonio Castro took the pommel horse title, notching a 14.70. This is the first time that Nebraska has beaten Penn State in the regular season since 1999, and Iowa since 2013.

The seventh-ranked Nebraska men’s gymnastics team returns home after a long stretch of away meets to host a pair of top-10 opponents. No. 5/6 Penn State and No. 9 Iowa come to the Bob Devaney Sports Center on March 4 for a Big Ten triangular meet, set to begin at 4 p.m.

Anton Stephenson Claims Conference Honor

Anton Stephenson of the Nebraska men’s gymnastics team earned his first Big Ten Gymnast-of-the-Week honor on Monday and his fourth overall weekly conference award after being named Big Ten Freshman of the Week three times last season.

CHICAGO --- In the first meet of the season after Winter Cup, where every individual score counted towards the team score, the No. 7 Nebraska men's gymnastics team put on an impressive showing against the No. 17/18 UIC Flames at the UIC Pavilion on Sunday afternoon. Led by a season-high vault score, which included the Huskers' first 15.0 score of the season from All-American Anton Stephenson and a sweep of the individual event titles, Nebraska defeated UIC 406.300-367.950.

Huskers Face Flames in Chicago This Weekend

The seventh-ranked Nebraska men’s gymnastics team concludes a long series of away meets this weekend when it travels to Chicago, Ill., to take on the No. 17/18 UIC Flames on Feb. 26. Competition is set to begin at 2 p.m. The meet is a co-ed meet with the UIC women’s gymnastics team hosting Western Michigan at the same time.
