Lincoln – After the Red team took the opener of the Red-White Series on Friday night, the next two games ended in a tie, including Tuesday's series finale. The Reds trailed 3-0 after four innings on Tuesday, but rallied to take a 5-3 lead into the seventh. The White squad responded with a pair of runs and then kept the Reds off the board, resulting in a 5-5 tie.

Lincoln – The Nebraska baseball team will open its annual Red-White Series on Friday, Oct. 14, at Hawks Field, with game one of the series scheduled for 6 p.m. The series continues on Sunday at 7 p.m., while the finale of the three-game series will be on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
Head Coach Darin Erstad released Nebraska's 2017 baseball schedule on Tuesday afternoon. The 55-game schedule opens on Friday, Feb. 17, with a trip to Tempe, Ariz., where the Huskers will play four games against the UC Riverside Highlanders at Tempe Diablo Stadium, the Spring Training home of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Following 11 games on the road to start the season, the Huskers host Northern Colorado for the 2017 home opener at Hawks Field on Tuesday, March 7.
