The Nebraska swim and dive team defeated the UNO Mavericks 197-98 on Saturday Jan. 14.
The Nebraska swimming and diving team returns to home action Saturday, Jan. 14, to close out its home dual season by battling Omaha at the Devaney Natatorium. The dual is set for an 11 a.m. start. The Huskers will honor seniors Anna Filipcic (Omaha), Erin Oeltjen (Omaha), Julia Roller (Naperville, Ill.) and Katt Sickle (Grain Valley, Mo.) in pre-meet ceremonies for Senior Day.
The Nebraska swim and dive team traveled to the University of Hawaii Dec. 28-Jan. 6.
The Husker divers traveled to Minneapolis, Minn. for the Jean Freeman Invitational Dec. 2- Dec. 3.

The Nebraska swimming and diving team continued to surge in the national rankings again this week, surging nine spots to No. 41 in the CollegeSwimming.com rankings on Nov. 22.
Freshman Tori Beeler earned Swimmer-of-the-Meet honors to lead Nebraska to its second straight Kansas Classic crown on Sunday in Topeka, Kan.
All-American Anna Filipcic (one meter) and freshman Abigail Knapton (platform) captured runner-up finishes to lead a solid set of performance by Nebraska divers at the Mizzou Invitational in Columbia, Mo., Nov. 17-19.
Nebraska swimming and diving coach Pablo Morales recently announced the signing of Maria “Masha” Astashkina, Gabby Baratta, Madison Coughlen, Autumn Haebig, Sutton Marvin, Izzy Murray, Allison Kopas, Jessica Pentlarge, Rachel Powers and Clara Walstad for the 2017-18 season.
The Nebraska divers travel to Columbia, Mo. for competition at the Mizzou Invitational, Thursday, Nov. 17 through Saturday, Nov. 19. While the Huskers divers are in Missouri, the swimmers will defend their 2015 meet title at the Kansas Classic. The Kansas Classic, which was called the Big Challenge last year, will be held at Capitol Federal Natatorium in Topeka from Friday, Nov. 18 through Sunday, Nov. 20.
Erin Oeltjen and Dana Posthuma, University of Nebraska swimmers from Omaha, return to the national spotlight this weekend when they represent the Huskers in the USA College Challenge in Indianapolis.
For the first time this season, the Huskers are ranked 50th in the CollegeSwimming rankings.
