Huskers Claim Two Event Titles
No. 8 Husker men's gymnastics team returns to competition Friday, March 8, for a matchup against the No. 7 Ohio State Buckeyes and the No. 6 Minnesota Golden Gophers in Columbus, Ohio. The meet is slated for a 5 p.m. CT start and will be broadcasted live on the Big Ten Network.

Lincoln, Neb. - The Nebraska men's gymnastics team claimed three event titles and the all-around title against No. 4 Minnesota and No. 18 UIC at today's Tumble N Rumble. Anton Stephenson claimed event titles on vault (14.85), pommel horse (13.35), while freshman Khalil Jackson and sophomore Griffin Kehler tied for the high bar title (14.00). Evan Hymanson claimed the all-around title with a score of 81.00. Hymanson led the way for the Huskers, posting three career high scores. Nebraska claimed first (404.650), Minnesota finished second (403.600), while UIC finished third (362.600).
The No. 8 Nebraska men's gymnastics team will host No. 4 Minnesota and No. 18 UIC in its second consecutive home meet on Feb. 23. At the 1 p.m. competition, Nebraska will giveaway 750 Pinkout t-shirts to support breast cancer awareness. Due to inclement weather, the men's gymnastics meet will be combined with the Husker men's wrestling Senior Day dual for a Tumble N Rumble.

Las Vegas, Nev. - Anton Stephenson, Griffin Kehler, Kyle King and Evan Kriley of the Nebraska menís gymnastics team have been invited to represent the Huskers at the prestigious Winter Cup in Las Vegas, Nev., and will get a shot at making the USA National Team.
Nebraska men's gymnast Anton Stephenson has been chosen as the second straight Nebraska male student-athlete to win the Wayne Duke Award. He is one of five Huskers in the past seven years to have claimed the award. The award is an annual scholarship recognizing one male and one female Big Ten senior for achievements in academics, athletics, extracurricular activities and leadership. Olivia Rosendahl of Northwestern University was chosen as this year's Wayne Duke Award recipient on the female side.
