On Wednesday, Oct. 19th, Dr. Kris Baack, Assistant Director for the Center for Civic Engagement and Director of Leadership Development, engaged and challenged members to leverage their strengths.
On Monday, Sept. 19th, Inner Circle, one of Nebraska's most popular and prestigious student leadership organizations, welcomed 43 members to its first meeting of the academic year.
During the evening of Monday, Sept. 19th, 47 student-athletes took advantage of an Athlete Network Seminar to hear an impactful message around the power of being an athlete.
On Thursday, August 25th, Life Skills hosted an International Student-Athlete Welcome for incoming international student-athletes, as a part of diversity and inclusion initiatives within Nebraska Athletics.
This fall, 19 recent Nebraska letterwinner graduates are utilizing their PEO scholarship to complete domestic and international internships as well as graduate coursework at UNL and UNMC.
In spring 2016, Sam Areman, Nebraska soccer alumna (2015) and letterwinner, utilized PEO funds to complete a digital marketing internship with Production Paradise in Barcelona, Spain.
Throughout the summer, eight Nebraska letterwinner graduates utilized Post-Eligibility Opportunity (PEO) funds to complete a variety of experiences throughout the world.
The University of Nebraska Department of Athletics announced several initiatives Wednesday to honor the legacy of Husker football player Sam Foltz, who was tragically killed in a car accident last month.
