An outstanding coach with a record of success at the NCAA Division I level and the Big Ten Conference, Mark Hankins was announced as the new head men's golf coach at the University of Nebraska by Athletic Director Bill Moos on June 13, 2018. Hankins, who is a current member of the NCAA Division I Men's Golf Committee and a past-president of the Golf Coaches Association of America, has led 13 teams to the NCAA Championships, including three teams to the Finals since 2009. In 15 seasons as a Big Ten men's golf head coach, he has guided players to five All-America awards, two Big Ten Player-of-the-Year awards, one Big Ten Freshman-of-the-Year honor, 21 All-Big Ten accolades and 47 Academic All-Big Ten awards. His Big Ten teams also combined for 22 tournament titles.
Rose Sousek completed her second season as the secretary for the Nebraska men's and women's golf program in 2017-18. She handles all office functions and works directly with the Nebraska golf coaches.
