Jami Hagedorn serves as the assistant director of business and human resources operations. She originally joined the Nebraska staff as a senior accountant in 2002, when she assisted with athletic department contracts and new business.
Hagedorn acts as the liaison between the athletic department and outside business affiliates, and helps develop systems and business practices for the department.
In 2005, Hagedorn assumed responsibility for the human resources and payroll processes for the athletic department while continuing her other financial responsibilities.
The former Jami Kubik, she married Patrick Hagedorn in August 2004. The couple has two daughters, Sidda and Vayda, and a son, Jasper.
As a member of the Nebraska women’s basketball team from 1994 to 1998, Hagedorn (Kubik) participated on two NCAA Tournament teams before earning a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Nebraska in 1998. She then went on to earn a master’s degree in professional accountancy from Nebraska in 1999. In the summer of 2011, Hagedorn was inducted into the Nebraska High School Hall of Fame.
