Nebraska Football Game Day Information
Tickets

A valid game ticket is required for entry into Memorial Stadium. All tickets will be electronically scanned to verify authenticity. Tickets must be scanned each time a guest enters or exits the stadium. At the start of the fourth quarter there will be no entry.

How to Reach Your Seat

Fans are encouraged to enter the stadium at the gate printed on their ticket; however, fans can enter gates 1-16, 18, 20 & 23 to access all stadiums. Other gates are reserved for premium level tickets or specialty gate tickets only.

Mobility Impaired Entrances

Gates 3, 7, 11, 15, 16A, 18, 19, 20, 21, 23, 23A & 24 are disabled accessible. There is no vertical transportation, i.e. elevators, located inside gates 3, 23A or 24 but all other disabled accessible entrance points will have vertical transportation for those who have proper access privileges.

Suite & Club Levels

These are restricted access areas for those individuals holding a valid suite or club level ticket. Access is granted via the lobbies located in the North, East and West Stadiums. Event staff members will control access in the lobbies, elevators, escalators, club lounges and the elevator lobbies off each floor while the Development Office will staff suite hosts on each suite level. Suite holders are charged with enforcement of ticket control in their suite while hosts will have oversight and authority to manage traffic in these areas as needed. All suite and club tickets abide by the same policies as regular game tickets and should be reminded of the no entry at the start of the 4th quarter policy.

Premium Level Seating

Premium Level Seating is located in the North Stadium Level 7 (Suites & Club), East Stadium Level 3 Suites, East Stadium Level 4 Club, East Stadium Level 5 Suites, West Stadium Level 3 Club, West Stadium Levels 4-6 Suites. Premium level tickets are not accepted at other stadium premium levels. Suite tickets can visit club areas within that specific stadium but club tickets may not visit suite levels. These ticket requests need to be communicated with the Nebraska Development and Ticketing Office.

North & West Stadium Showcase Lobbies

The Osborne Athletic Complex (OAC) sits on the north side of Memorial Stadium and houses the Traditions Lobby and The Nebraska Experience Room open to the public four (4) hours before kickoff (videos will not be shown on game day). The OAC displays athletic achievement and accolades while the West Stadium lobby displays all of our student-athlete's academic achievements and accolades. The West Stadium lobby opens to ticket holders two (2) hours before kickoff and is not open to the public on game days. The OAC closes one (1) hour before kickoff to all those without a premium level ticket to the game.

Nebraska Player Guest Tickets

NCAA compliance regulations require us to have adequate oversight on the issuance and use of complimentary tickets, i.e. Player-Guest Tickets. Player-Guest tickets are picked up at the gate 22 ticket windows. Reentry is not allowed. These tickets will not have a barcode for scanners to read. Reentry will be granted for emergency situations at which time, the ticket holder will have to check out and back in with the Gate 22 supervisor.

Student Tickets

UNL Student seating is general admission in the East Stadium (sections 9, 10, and 11) and the South Stadium (sections 12, 13A and 13B). All student tickets for football, men's basketball and volleyball will be loaded to their Ncards. The scanners read the bar code on the Ncards, which is their 8-digit NU ID number, plus a 5-digit issue number. If the student loses his or her card and has it replaced, they must notify the Nebraska Athletic Ticket Office to reissue their ticket to the new number, (with different issue number at the end). If they do not give proper notification of the change, the scanner will get an invalid scan and the student may not be admitted to the event.

For transfers, students may transfer to other UNL students for all three sports. All transfers are done electronically from their ticket account on huskers.com. Student-to-student transfers go directly onto the transferee's N card, no charge. One caveat is that tickets may only be transferred one time to one person, so it is important that the original ticket holder send the invitation to the intended recipient and not a third party to attempt to transfer again, as that is not possible.

A new student guest ticket program was created prior to the 2014 season. Students may purchase one guest ticket per game, available the Monday before a home game. Guest tickets will be print-at-home. Guest tickets are good for South Stadium (Sections 12-13) GA seating only. If a student misses two games he or she loses the privilege of purchasing guest tickets. Guest tickets may be used by anyone.

Ticket Security

The Ticket Office will only conduct business with the ticket holder of record (photo ID required). Treat tickets like cash. Keep them in a safe, secure location at all times, especially on game day. Lost ticket replacements will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis. There will be a non-refundable $10 fee per ticket to reprint lost or stolen tickets, payable by credit card only. If ticket fraud is discovered, the full ticket price will be assessed to the account and season ticket privileges could be terminated.

Service elevators will be used by elevator passes in east. An elevator is located inside Gate 15 which can be used for mobility impaired persons needing access to the upper northeast concourse.

Standing Policy

We have no policy which would remove fans from the stadium if they are simply cheering or being loud. If there are complaints that fans are standing throughout the game and blocking the view of those behind them, the fans will be warned that others have a right to see the game. We realize that in the student sections standing is customary and normally everyone stands throughout the game. However, in other parts of the stadium many people either prefer to sit or aren't physically able to stand throughout the game. Therefore, in order to see what is going on they do have a right to gain some assistance from staff members if people continually block their view by standing in front of them. Unless a person is drunk, disorderly or abusive they will not be removed from the stadium.

Smoking Policy

Smoking is not permitted inside Memorial Stadium. This includes electronic cigarettes or other forms of electronic smoking. Fans may exit to smoke and need to have their game ticket properly scanned upon exiting if they wish to return. There is no entry at the start of the 4th quarter, regardless of when the fan exited the stadium.

Lost Patrons

Juveniles, disabled patrons and elderly unable to care for themselves should all be reported to the Stadium Operations Center. Stadium staff will remain with the reported person until a law enforcement official arrives to take control. The officer will remain with the reported person until they are reunited with the missing party. Missing adults who can care for themselves will not be assisted by law enforcement.

Medical Exemption

Guests who have a need to bring in certain food/beverages for medical purposes will be allowed as long as those items meet the need of the individual with the medical condition. The Events Office should be notified when patrons request this exemption. Bags/containers that are used for medical purposes and do not meet the clear bag policy guidelines will need to enter specific gates for authorized entry. Please visit huskers.com/bagpolicy for complete details

Incident Report Cards

Incident reporting is encouraged and includes facility issues, policy/procedure questions, disorderly conduct, etc. Event staff have incident report cards so they can document these issues. Reporting is encouraged by everyone so we can narrow the amount of repeat issues in a season and better serve our guests.
