• Knocked down 17 kills at Michigan State on Sept. 24 to lead the Huskers to a 3-2 comeback win

• Mikaela Foecke (pronounced FECK-ee) joined the Huskers from Holy Trinity Catholic High School in Fort Madison, Iowa
• Was one of the country's most highly touted recruits, rated the No. 2 prospect according to PrepVolleyball.com
• Named the Gatorade National Player of the Year as a senior after totaling 812 kills, 270 digs, 170 aces and 95 blocks, leading Holy Trinity Catholic to a 48-4 record and the school's first state title in any sport
• Named an Under Armour First-Team All-American
• Was a two-time Iowa Gatorade Player of the Year and first-team American Family Insurance All-USA honoree
• Earned MaxPreps 2013 Junior Volleyball Player of the Year honors after averaging 6.08 kills per set as a junior and leading Holy Trinity to a 45-6 record and the Iowa Class 1A state championship match
• Was a member of the USA U20 Junior National Team as a 17-year-old, winning gold at the NORCECA Championship in Guatemala in 2014
• Competed at the 2013 FIVB U18 World Championship in Thailand, leading Team USA to a silver medal
