2019 (Season Outlook)
After coming back from an injury last season, Josh Martin looks to make spots in the lineup on all six events as an all-arounder. He's expected to compete on pommel horse and vault for the Huskers as he appeared nine times on pommel horse and seven times on vault in 2018. He also appeared six times on still rings and could help the Huskers on that event as well.

Martin is expected to continue making an impact outside of the gym as a three-time Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll recipient, an Academic All-Big Ten pick and a member of the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.

2018 (Freshman)
Despite suffering a season-ending injury in 2017, Martin bounced back and had an impressive 2018 season posting a career best (14.50) on vault. Martin competed in nine meets on pommel horse and in seven meets on vault. Martin posted a 13.60 on pommel horse and a 12.46 on still rings at the NCAA Championships, helping the Huskers to its fifth place finish.

Outside of the gym, Martin continued making an impact as an Academic All-Big Ten honoree in 2018.

2018 Season Highs

  • Still Rings - 13.65 (at Rocky Mountain Open, Jan. 13, 2018)

2017 (Medical Redshirt)
Martin suffered a season-ending injury early in the season and was forced to take a medical redshirt in his first season at Nebraska. Prior to the injury, Martin was dynamic on vault for the Huskers in the first three meets of the season. He scored at least 14.00 each time and notched a season-high score of 14.10 twice.

Despite not being able to impact the team in the gym, Martin was impressive in the classroom and in the community for the Huskers, earning spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall and spring semesters of 2016-7. He also was named to the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team in 2017.

2017 Season Highs
