2017-18: Sophomore
Coming off a dominant inaugural season, Claire Reifeis kept up her high level of play throughout her sophomore season with the Huskers.

Reifeis came away with a singles championship at the Gopher Invitational in September of 2017 and totaled 12 fall victories, matching teammate Paula Del Cueto Castillo for the most among the Huskers.

The regular season was full of singles and doubles success. Reifeis went 17-5 in singles play, putting up a 5-3 mark in Big Ten competition. Reifeis assisted the Huskers to a 4-3 team triumph over No. 19 Ohio State with a 6-3, 6-7 (2-7), 6-2 win at No. 2 singles. Reifeis was named Big Ten Tennis Athlete of the Week following her wins against the Buckeyes.

Accompanied by Hayley Haakenstad, Reifeis found her groove on the doubles court. The duo took over doubles duties at the No. 2 position and achieved a record of 12-7, which included a win over Big Ten champion and player of the year Kate Fahey.

Off the court, Haakenstad was a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and earned Academic All-Big Ten honors. She was also a member of the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.

2016-17: Freshman
As one of five true freshman that joined the Huskers in 2016-17, Reifeis paced the Huskers in every level of play, boasting some of the top records on the team. She posted a team-best 24-8 record in doubles play, including an impressive record of 16-5 in spring play. She earned a 7-3 clip in Big Ten play.

Reifeis was only outdone in singles play by teammate Katerina Matysova who went 21-3 with a perfect spring season. Reifeis posted a team second-best 20-14 in singles play, playing out of the No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3 positions. She went 12-10 in spring play and had a 3-6 record in Big Ten play.

Off the court, Reifeis was named to the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll and the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.
