Dear UNL Student,
Welcome to the University of Nebraska Athletic
Department. We encourage you to be
a part of tradition at Nebraska, and become a true Cornhusker. What does it mean to be a
Cornhusker? It means to be a part
of the Sea of Red, by wearing red at almost every home athletic event. It means supporting your beloved
Huskers, year in and year out, when we win national championships and when we
might be going through some rebuilding years. It means being a part of the Red Zone, The Block and all of
the other student athletic support groups. It means chanting "Go Big Red" or "Husker Power" when our
teams need it the most or in celebration of a victory.
Being a Cornhusker is a way of life, to live and breathe for
the Huskers. As a student, take it
all in. Take advantage of your
opportunity to become a die-hard Husker fan. Tickets will never be this easy to get, or this cheap to
purchase. UNL students only have
to pay for tickets to 3 of Nebraska's 23 sports, which are Football, Men's
Basketball and Volleyball. All
other sports are FREE when you show your student ID (N Card) at the gates.
For centuries Nebraska has been known for having the
greatest fans in college athletics, and UNL students are a major contributor to
such an accolade. It is our
mission to provide an entertaining, fun, energetic, and memorable experience
when you attend Nebraska Athletic events so that you will continue to support
your Cornhuskers and carry on the tradition during your time at Nebraska.
