Welcome to Memorial Stadium
![]()
Inscribed on the four corners of the stadium are the following words, written by former UNL professor of philosophy Hartley Burr Alexander: "In Commemoration of the men of Nebraska who served and fell in the Nations Wars. Not the victory but the action; Not the goal but the game; In the deed the glory. Courage; Generosity; Fairness; Honor; In these are the true awards of manly sport. Their Lives they held their countrys trust; They kept its faith; They died its heroes."

2012 East Stadium Entrance
Due to the construction, we’ve had to adjust how we handle the entry of fans on the east side. Although we are limiting the number of entry locations, we will have a comparable number of entry points as in previous seasons, i.e. ticket takers. Gate 23/24 locations are dedicated for student ticket entry. The other entry points will take all other valid gameday tickets.

Meeting Places
In case you get separated from your family or friends, please plan ahead to have two designated meeting places - one inside the stadium, such as your gate, seat or favorite concession stand; and another outside the stadium, such as a predetermined landmark like the Columns or East Stadium Legacy Statue, or a parking space. If you need assistance, contact the nearest fan host or police officer.
