Colgate Ties for 65th in NCAA Regionals

Sammamish, Wash. - Michael Colgate finished in a tie for 65th place after firing 75 in the final round of the NCAA Washington Regionals. Colgate finished with a total score of 234 (+21) after shooting 74 and 85 in the first two rounds of the tournament. 

Colgate was one of five indivduals not on a qualifying team. The other four individuals included Hidetoshi Yoshihara (University of California, Los Angeles), Tim Widing (University of San Francisco), Ryan Wallen (University of Wyoming), and Cole Madey (University of California, Los Angeles). Yoshihara carded 71 and finished in a tie for 62nd. Widing tied for 40th after firing 69 in the final round. Wallen tied for 38th with a third round score of 77. Madey posted 75 and tied for 45th. 

Cole Miller of Penn State finished first after firing 68 in the final round. Miller shot a total score of 206.
