2012: Senior
Paige Hubl joined Lauren Cook and Hannah Werth as a captain on the 2012 squad after being a key defensive contributor and serving specialist for the Huskers in 2011 • Notched two digs against Colgate and posted an impressive performance against Duquesne on Sept. 7, recording a career-high 15 digs • Played in all of the Huskers’ matches in 2012 • Recorded an average of .59 digs per set and .06 aces per set • Totaled 67 total digs on the year and seven service aces • earned her bachelor’s degree from Nebraska in May of 2013.

2011: Junior
Hubl continued in her role as a defensive and serving specialist for the Huskers, providing valuable depth at the position • Played in all 30 of the Huskers’ matches in 2011 • Posted nine digs against Michigan on Nov. 4, aiding the Huskers in a 3-1 win • Recorded two aces against New Mexico State on Aug. 26. • Had five digs in the Huskers’ win over Purdue on Oct. 7 • Notched a career-high 12 digs against Kansas State on Dec. 2, while also contributing one service ace.

2010: Sophomore
Hubl did not play in any matches in 2010 while providing depth as a defensive specialist.

2009: Freshman
Hubl added depth to the Husker defensive unit, appearing in two matches as a true freshman • Totaled one dig in three sets of action • Played the final set against Coastal Carolina in NU’s NCAA Tournament opener on Dec. 4 as a defensive specialist, recording her first career dig • Made her Husker debut against UL-Lafayette on Sept. 4, seeing limited duty in a pair of sets.

High School
Hubl was a four-year starter at libero for Coach Lindsay Coleman at Lincoln Southeast High School • Finished her career among the school’s all-time leaders in both aces and digs • Set school single-match records for both digs (30) and service aces (six) • Named second-team Super-State by the Lincoln Journal Star after recording 513 digs and 75 service aces to set school records in both categories • Ranked among the Class A state leaders in both service aces (0.63) and digs (4.0) per set as a senior • Earned first-team Class A and all-city accolades • Earned honorable-mention all-state honors as a sophomore and junior • Was a multi-sport standout who started four seasons in both basketball and soccer • Garnered all-state honors twice in soccer, earning first-team all-state laurels as a midfielder as a freshman and as a defender as a senior • Named second-team Super-State in soccer in 2009, anchoring a defense that allowed just four goals all season and finished with a 16-2 record • Started four seasons on the court at point guard, averaging five points and three rebounds per game in basketball, helping Lincoln Southeast to a Class A state title in 2008 and a runner-up finish in 2009.
