1995 Season
Brenda Sieczkowski (pronounced suh-SKOW-ski) was a solid defender for the Huskers in 1995, starting all 18 games. She recorded only two shots, but was a leader on a Huskers' defense that allowed just 1.42 goals-against average.

1994 Season
Sieczkowski started all 14 games in which she played and was a key reason NU limited opponents to 1.06 goals per game. She missed NU's last four games due to a hamstring injury. Sieczkoski's efforts earned her Nebraska's Most Valuable Player Award.

High School
Sieczkowski lettered four years for Duchesne Academy which dominated Nebraska high school soccer during her career. Duchesne won state titles in 1991, 1992 and 1993 and placed third in 1994. She earned coaches first team all-state, academic all-state and all-metro honors in 1993 and 1994. During her high school career, Duchesne had a 64-3 record.

Other Information
Sieczkowski's club team, Gladiator Synergy, won the Nebraska state championship in 1990, 1991, 1993 and 1994 and was a third-place regional finisher in 1993. Sieczkowski graduated from high school with the highest honors and was president of Duchesne's National Honor Society.

Personal Information
The daughter of Paul and Susan Sieczkowski, Brenda has three sisters, Lisa, 21, Paula, 14, and Anna, 12, as well as two brothers, Brian, 17, and Kevin, 1. She was born Nov. 26, 1975.
