Morgan Wilken competed in three meets during the 2013 indoor season... posted a season-best throw of 46-7 1/4 (14.20) in the shot put at the Nebraska Tune-Up on Feb. 15...earned spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall and spring semesters of 2012-13...participated in seven meets during the 2013 outdoor season...earned two top finishes in the discus with a season-best mark at the Nebraska Quad with a throw of 177-0 (53.95) and a 168-8 (51.41) performance at the Crimson Tide Invite...finished 13th at the 2013 Big Ten Outdoor Championships in the discus with a distance of 148-2 (45.16).

2012 (Junior)
Wilken became a two-time All-American in 2012, with an eighth-place finish in the discus at the 2012 NCAA Outdoor Championships, recording a throw of 178-5 (54.38)... recorded an indoor personal best of 47-3 (14.40) in the shot put and an outdoor personal best of 183-7 (55.95) in the discus... finished fourth in the discus at the 2012 Big Ten Outdoor Championships, recording a throw of 176-1 (53.67)... notched the Drake Relays discus title with a personal-best throw of 183-7 (55.95)... posted a throw of 175-3 (53.41) in the discus at the K.T. Woodman Classic on April 14... named a Spring Academic All-Big Ten and Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll selection.
2011 (Sophomore)
Wilken earned second-team All-America honors in the discus in 2011 after finishing 13th at the NCAA Outdoor Championships with a mark of 166-8 (50.80)... competed in five meets during the indoor track and field season... posted a season-best 44-11 1/2 (13.70) in the shot put at the Frank Sevigne Invitational... finished sixth in discus at the 2011 Big 12 Outdoor Championships with a mark of 171-11 (52.40)... competed in seven meets during the outdoor track and field season.. set a season best of 172-3 (52.50) in the discus at the Tom Jones Memorial. 2010
2010 (Redshirt Freshman)
Wilken nearly captured All-America honors in the discus in her first year of competition as a Husker... broke her previous best of 158-5 at her second meet of the season - the Jim Click Shootout - with a throw of 159-10... improved the mark at three consecutive meets later in the season with throws of 165-7, 166-8 and 166-9, with the last throw earning her a third-place finish at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships... finished 10th at the NCAA West Regional to earn a bid to the NCAA Championships... threw 165-5 at the NCAA Championships to finish 11th and missed out on All-America honors by three spots.
2009 (Redshirt)
Wilken redshirted her first year at Nebraska... competed twice in the discus during the outdoor season as an unattached athlete... tossed a then-personal best of 158-5 at the WSC
Wildcat Open... would have qualified for the NCAA Midwest Regional as her throw surpassed the regional standard of 155-2.
Before Nebraska (Crofton)
Wilken competed at the Nebraska state meet in Class C as a sophomore, junior and senior under Coach Rod Hegge... helped Crofton to team titles in 2006 and 2007 and a runner-up finish in 2008... won the discus with a throw of 135-3 and finished sixth in the shot put (37-7) as a sophomore... finished runner-up in the discus with a throw of 138-7 as a junior... won the All-Class medal as a senior with a throw of 145-6... set her personal best in the discus (150-8) and shot put (38-5 1/2) at the Pierce Invitational... finished third at the 2008 USATF Junior Olympic Track and Field Championships in the discus (136-11)... was a member of the three-time state champion Warrior basketball team... member of the National Honor Society.
