Lincoln - The final Nebraska women's basketball game at the Bob Devaney Sports Center on Sunday, March 3, has been chosen for the final BTN slot of the Big Ten regular season, the network announced Wednesday.
Nebraska's Senior Day game with No. 8 Penn State will tip off at 5:01 p.m. central time and will be televised live nationally by BTN. The game will be the finale of a Big Ten women's basketball quadruple-header on the network on Sunday, March 3.
Michigan at Ohio State will start the day at 11 a.m., before Wisconsin travels to Michigan State for a 1 p.m. tip. Illinois and Purdue will square off at 3 p.m. in another contest that could have major implications on the top four seeds at the Big Ten Tournament, March 7-10 in Hoffman Estates, Ill.
Nebraska's game with Penn State could have conference title implications and an impact on the top four seeds at the tournament as well. The game also will be Senior Day for Huskers Lindsey Moore and Meghin Williams.
The Huskers, who head into Thursday night's game at Northwestern at 16-6 overall and 6-3 in the Big Ten, are riding a four-game winning streak. Nebraska dropped its first meeting with Penn State 80-58 in University Park, Pa., on Jan. 13. The Lady Lions sit atop the Big Ten standings at 8-1 and 18-3 overall.
The Big Ten Network also announced its two wildcard picks for Thursday, Feb. 28. Michigan State will play at Purdue on the network at 5 p.m., before Penn State plays at Minnesota on BTN at 7 p.m.
Nebraska's game at Wisconsin on Feb. 28 was not chosen for a BTN telecast. It will tip at 7 p.m.
