Huskers to Play Night Game in Fresno

The Mountain West Conference announced on Thursday that Nebraska’s Sept. 13 football game at Fresno State will be televised in prime time on CBS Sports Network. The matchup will kick off at 9:30 p.m. Central (7:30 PT in Fresno).

The meeting at Fresno State will be the second all-time between the schools, following a 42-29 Nebraska victory at Memorial Stadium in 2011. The Bulldogs will make a return trip to Lincoln in the 2016 season.

Fresno State is coming off an 11-2 record in 2013, capped by a trip to the Las Vegas Bowl.

The Sept. 13 evening telecast is the third night game on the Huskers’ 2014 schedule announced this week. Earlier, ABC/ESPN announced that Nebraska’s Sept. 20 game against Miami and its Oct. 4 game at Michigan State will both kick off at 7 p.m. CT.

The Big Ten Network is expected to announce its prime time television schedule for the 2014 season in the near future.
