Lincoln - The Nebraska women’s basketball team will face Illinois on Thursday, Feb. 27 at 7 p.m. at Pinnacle Bank Arena. The Huskers announced the game time on Friday, Feb. 7, when the Big Ten Network made its wildcard selections for that date.
NU’s game with Illinois, which had been listed on schedules as either “TBA” or “6/7/8 p.m.” was not chosen for a national television distribution on BTN, so the Huskers will tip-off against the Fighting Illini at 7 p.m.
The game between the Huskers and Illini will be special for the Big Red, as they honor two-time All-American Jordan Hooper on Senior Night. Tickets for the game are available now at Huskers.com or by calling 1-800-8-BIG-RED.
Nebraska will be in action at Pinnacle Bank Arena tomorrow for a top-25 showdown between the No. 22 Huskers (16-5, 6-3 Big Ten) and No. 24 Michigan State (16-7, 8-2 Big Ten). The Big Red will take on the Spartans at 2 p.m. MSU is tied atop the Big Ten Conference standings with Penn State, while the Huskers sit just one game back in the loss column in sole possession of third place.
