Huskers to Host NCAA Second and Third Rounds

Lincoln - The Nebraska soccer team will host the NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Championships Second and Third Rounds with a pair of matches on Friday, Nov. 22 followed by a Sweet 16 matchup on Sunday, Nov. 24. All matches will be played at the Nebraska Soccer Field. 

Action begins Friday when fellow Big Ten member Illinois (10-8-3) faces No. 12 Portland (17-2-1), co-champions of the West Coast Conference, at 11:00 a.m. CT. The 10th-ranked Huskers (19-3-1) will then battle Boston College (11-9-1) out of the Atlantic Coast Conference at 2:00 p.m.

Sunday's third round match will take place at 1:00 p.m and feature the winners of Friday's contests.
