Huskers Making Moves in National Rankings

The Nebraska soccer team moved up seven spots to No. 12 in the weekly NCAA RPI rankings released on Monday night. The Huskers are 12-3-1 overall and 7-1 atop the Big Ten, notching its highest conference win total since 2001.

NU also rose one spot to No. 21 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America/Continental Tire Women's Division I poll released on Tuesday. This designation marks the highest ranking since September of 2005. The Scarlet and Cream remained at No. 4 in the Great Lakes Regional ranking.

Nebraska has won 10 of its last 11 matches for the first time since 2002. The offense has been on a quite as run as the Huskers have scored in 13 straight matches, the longest streak since 2002 when NU put together 14 in a row. Nebraska also improves its record to 9-0-1 this season when scoring first.
