2012-13 (Senior)
Ashley Reiter (RY-der) recorded 11 top-five finishes and one individual event victory in her final season with the Huskers. Her win came in the 100-yard breaststroke against South Dakota State in November, marking the first victory of her Nebraska career. Reiter set five career-best times on the season, including career bests in the 100- (1:03.40) and 200-yard breaststrokes (2:17.10) at the Iowa Invitational in December.
The Fargo, N.D., native finished fifth and sixth, respectively, in the two events in Iowa City. At the 2013 Big Ten Championships, Reiter teamed up with Hayley Martin, Shannon Guy and Ariel Weech to set a school record of 3:39.36 in the 400-yard medley relay.

In the classroom, Reiter earned academic All-Big Ten honors for the second straight season, giving her three academic all-conference awards in her career. She was also named to the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in both semesters of 2012-13.

2011-12 (Junior)
Reiter continued to compete at a high level for the Huskers during her junior season. She competed in six events and showed her versatility by swimming five different styles (IM, freestyle, breaststroke, butterfly, and backstroke). Reiter amassed six top-six finishes on the season and set a then-personal-best time in the 200-yard breaststroke of 2:20.77 at the 2012 Big Ten Championships.

A standout performer in the classroom, Reiter earned academic All-Big Ten honors and was chosen to the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in both the fall semester of 2011 and spring semester of 2012.

2010-11 (Sophomore)
Reiter showed outstanding improvement in her second season with the Huskers. She captured 14 top-five finishes as a sophomore after posting five top-five showings as a freshman. Reiter set personal bests in the 100- and 200-yard breaststrokes and the 200-yard individual medley as a sophomore. All three of those personal bests came at the 2011 Big 12 Championships.

Reiter also claimed first-team academic All-Big 12 honors and earned spots on the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll in the fall of 2010 and spring of 2011.

2009-10 (Freshman)
Reiter added depth to the Husker breaststroke and individual medley corps during her freshman year. She performed well while making the adjustment to collegiate swimming by posting five top-five finishes on the year. Her best meet came at the Missouri Invite, where she set then-personal-best times in the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke and the 200-yard individual medley. Reiter produced a pair of runner-up finishes against South Dakota in the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke.

Reiter enjoyed an excellent career at Fargo West High School for Coach Marsha Dahl. Reiter was a three-time 100-yard breaststroke state champion and a two-time state runner-up in the 200-yard IM. Reiter was also part of three state championship relay teams. She was a six-time first-team all-state honoree and named the Senior Athlete of the Year. In the classroom, Reiter captured Scholastic All-America honors and was a member of the Fargo West National Honor Society. She was also an honor roll selection every year in high school.

The daughter of Greg and Patty Reiter, Ashley was born on June 22, 1991, in Fargo, N.D. Ashley majored in biological sciences and Spanish, earning her bachelor's degree from Nebraska in December of 2013. She claimed academic All-Big Ten honors in 2012 and 2013. She was also a first-team academic All-Big 12 pick in 2011. Reiter was named to the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall and spring semesters of both 2011-12 and 2012-13. She was a four-time member of the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll.
