Future Husker Kozikowski Receives Nicklaus Award

Dublin, Ohio - Future Husker men's golfer Jimmy Kozikowski received the Jack Nicklaus Award for player of the year in junior college golf on Sunday.

Kozikowski spent the past week at the PGA Tour's the Memorial Tournament in Dublin, Ohio as a guest of Nicklaus. He is one of five recipients of the Jack Nicklaus Award as Justin Thomas of Alabama (Division I), Ben Taylor of Nova Southeastern (Division II), Noah Ratner of Guilford (Division III) and Nathan Anderson of Texas Wesleyan (NAIA) all earned the accolade.

Kozikowski is a junior college transfer from South Mountain Community College, where he competed from 2010 to 2012. Kozikowski will begin his Husker career this fall.
