The Nebraska women's basketball team will appear three times on regular-season FSN national television broadcasts as part of the Big 12 Conference package and will also make its first appearance on the Big Ten Network this season.
The Huskers will square off with future Big Ten Conference foe Indiana at Assembly Hall in Bloomington, Ind., on Sunday, Dec. 5, at 11 a.m. (central) in a game televised live by the Big Ten Network.
After playing their lone televised non-conference game against the Hoosiers, the Huskers will appear three times on FSN, including back-to-back games against traditional Big 12 North rivals early in the league season.
The defending Big 12 champion Huskers will make their first FSN appearance against Kansas at the Bob Devaney Sports Center on Sunday, Jan. 16 at 2 p.m. Nebraska's game with the Jayhawks was originally scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 15, but was moved back a day to accommodate TV.
Less than a week later, the Huskers will be back on FSN to take on Kansas State. Nebraska will square off against the Wildcats in Manhattan on Saturday, Jan. 22 at 1 p.m.
Nebraska will make its final regular-season appearance on FSN on Super Bowl Sunday, when the Huskers take on Colorado in Boulder on Feb. 6 at 3 p.m. (central). NU's game at CU was also originally scheduled for Saturday, but was moved to Sunday for TV.
League-wide, FSN will televise 19 regular-season games and the final seven games of the Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Championship at Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Mo. (March 8-12).
In addition to the Nebraska's four regular-season games on national television, the Huskers will also have a pair of games on FSN Midwest. Those games will be announced at a later date. NU could also pick up other regionally televised games as part of opponent third-tier TV packages.
