The Nebraska women's basketball game at North Carolina in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge has been moved to Wednesday, Dec. 4, the conferences announced on Monday, Sept. 30.
The game date, which was originally set by the Big Ten and ACC on Thursday, Dec. 5, as part of the Big Ten/ACC Challenge series, was moved at the request of North Carolina to accommodate the possibility of the Tar Heels hosting first- and second-round matches in the NCAA Volleyball Tournament.
North Carolina contacted Nebraska about the potential move, and the ACC and Big Ten conferences approved the date change.
The tip-off time for the first meeting between Nebraska and North Carolina since Dec. 20, 1995, will be 5 p.m. (CT)/6 p.m. (ET) in Chapel Hill, N.C. The game is not scheduled to be televised.
