Bio

2010-11 (Sophomore)

Ambrosich competed thirteen times for the Huskers in 2010-11 in six different events. She earned a season-best eighth-place finish in the 200-butterfly against Illinois along with four eleventh place finishes in the 50- and 100-freestyle along with the 100-yard butterfly. 

2009-10 (Freshman)

Ambrosich produced a solid freshman season at NU in her five events. She notched two top-five finishes. She finished third against Missouri in the 200-yard individual medley and fifth in the 200-yard butterfly against UNO. Ambrosich had the fifth-best performance among the Huskers in the 200-yard butterfly.

Previous

Ambrosich swam at Cherry Creek High School for Coach Eric Craven, where she was a part of an All-American relay team that captured a state title. She also won a state team title with Cherry Creek. she also swam for the Hilltoppers club team in Denver, where she helped the team finish first in the Western Sectional meet in the summer of 2009. Ambrosich was a member of the honor roll in high school all four years.

Personal

Jordyn was born on Nov. 9, 1990, in Colorado Springs, Colo. she is the daughter of Dan Ambrosich and Karen McCracken and has two brothers, Mitch and Grant. Jordyn is a pre-medicine major at Nebraska.
