Inside the Gym: Pack the House
Inside the Gym features updates, recaps and journals from members of the men's gymnastics team throughout the 2013 season. You can follow the Huskers on Facebook at facebook.com/NebraskaMGym and on Twitter @NebraskaMGym.
Zach Hedval, one of the Huskers' newest additions, has become a movitator for the team during the preseason, particularly right before the first intrasquad of the season. With the team's second Red v. White challenge beginning on Friday, he has assumed the role once again. This time, though, Hedval reaches out to the team's family, friends and fans.
18... The number of years since our last national title.
22... The number of gymnasts on the team.
1... Only one goal, make top 6 at NCAA's this year!
This Friday at 4 p.m. and Saturday at 3 p.m. marks the final intrasquad before the Husker gymnasts take it to the streets. I know this is dead week and many of you are getting ready for finals, but hear me out for a second...
This is where our friends, family, teammates (especially from other sports) come into play. What good is a team with no one behind them? If you are available at any time, even for just a few minutes, the Nebraska men's gymnastics team would love to have you come over to the Devaney and watch us get our grown man on! For such a small place, we bring A LOT of fire and intensity and if enough people show, it'll double, even triple. It is what you make it, so let's make it an amazing weekend!
Ubuntu, an African tribal saying meaning, "I am because we are." We are Nebraska Gymnastics and WE ALL ARE BIG RED. Let’s do work...
