The Nebraska Cornhuskers overcame a 26-27 halftime deficit to edge the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles 51-50 on Wednesday night. NU improved to 5-3 on the season, while the Eagles fell to 3-6. Nebraska shot 18 of 45 (40.0%) from the field and 8 of 13 (83.3%) at the free throw line in front of a crowd of 8,408 at the Bob Devaney Sports Center.

Nebraska was led by Dylan Talley and Brandon Ubel on the night. Talley was NU's top scorer on the night, notching 14 points, 12 of which came from three-point field goals. Ubel posted a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds while adding two assists and a steal. The Eagles were paced by Sherwood Brown, who tallied 14 points on the night and added three rebounds.
