Coming off three straight home wins, the No. 38 Nebraska Cornhuskers (4-2) look to keep their momentum going as they host two more matches at the Nebraska Tennis Center this weekend. The Huskers will play a pair of ranked teams as No. 73 Drake (7-1) and No. 66 Idaho (4-4) travel to Lincoln, Neb.
The Huskers' first match of the weekend will be Friday, Feb. 17 at 6 p.m. against the Drake Bulldogs. The second match of the weekend will take place on Sunday, Feb. 19 at 9 a.m. as the Huskers face off against the Vandals of Idaho.
History with the Bulldogs
The last meeting between Nebraska and Drake took place on March 3, 2010 when the Huskers downed the Bulldogs, 6-1, in Lincoln, Neb.

In the last meeting between the two teams, Nebraska defeated the Idaho Vandals on March 25, 2004 at the Boise State Invitational Tournament, 6-1.
Nebraska Opens Home Schedule with Three Game Sweep
The Huskers went 3-0 this past weekend as they opened up their portion of their home schedule. On Friday, Feb. 10 the Huskers defeated Denver, 4-3. With a double header on Sunday, Feb, 12 the Huskers kept their win streak rolling with wins over Creighton, 6-1 and No. 74 East Tennessee State, 4-3.
NU's Double Team Play Has Been Impressive
Nebraska is 12-4 this season in doubles play. They have two doubles teams ranked including the No. 5 team of Christopher Aumueller and Benedikt Lindhim, who are 3-1 on the year. The other ranked duo of Robert Schulze and Andre Stenger are undefeated at 6-0 and are ranked No. 22 in the latest ITA rankings.
Two Huskers in Both Latest Singles and Doubles Rankings
In the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association Rankings released on Feb. 16, Nebraska saw its doubles team of Christopher Aumueller and Benedikt Lindheim jump two spots to No. 5. The other ranked doubles team is the undefeated duo of Andre Stenger and Robert Schulze who are ranked No. 22. The Huskers also had two singles players ranked in No. 54 Lindheim and No. 60 Aumueller.

Scouting the Drake Bulldogs
Drake is 7-1 on the year and ranked No. 73. The Bulldogs have one common opponent with the Huskers in the Denver Pioneers who they defeated, 4-1, at the Harvard Kick-Off on Jan. 28. Drake has one singles player ranked in No. 73 Anis Ghorbel, who is 3-0 on the year with all three wins coming at the No. 1 spot. The Bulldogs are coached by Evan Austin. Austin is in his second year.
Scouting the Idaho Vandals
Idaho is 4-4 on the season and ranked No. 66 in the country. The Vandals duo of Marius Cirstec and Andrew Dobbs is 2-1 from the No. 1 spot in doubles play and ranked No. 33 in the country. Most likely playing at the No. 1 spot for the Vandals will be Cirstec who is 3-5 this season with all eight matches at the top-spot. Idaho is coached by Jeff Beaman, who is in his sixth season.
