Lincoln - The Nebraska women's basketball team's Big Ten Conference battles with Michigan State (Jan. 24) and Minnesota (Feb. 3) will be televised live statewide by NET. Live video streams of those games also will be available to subscribers of BTN.com's All-Access package.
Larry Punteney and former Husker Jami (Kubik) Hagedorn will be on the call for the Huskers' showdown with the Spartans on Thursday, Jan. 24 at the Devaney Center. Tip-off is set for 7:05 p.m. Michigan State figures to be in the hunt for the Big Ten title along with Nebraska. The Spartans return 12 letterwinners from a team that won 20 games and tied for second in the final Big Ten regular-season standings before earning a bid to the 2012 NCAA Tournament.
Jon Schuetz is scheduled to join Hagedorn on the call for Nebraska's clash with the Golden Gophers on Sunday, Feb. 3. Tip-off is set for 2:05 p.m. Minnesota returns three starters from last year's team that won 19 games and won the Women's Basketball Invitational postseason tournament.
Nebraska's game with Minnesota will be a Pepsi Pack the House day with $1 general admission tickets, along with 24-ounce Pepsi products for just $1, or 32-ounce Pepsi souvenir cups for just $2.
The February game between the Huskers and Gophers will complete the regular-season series between the two schools. Nebraska will play Minnesota in Minneapolis on Sunday, Jan. 20, at 5 p.m. in a game that will be televised live nationally by the Big Ten Network.
