Huskers Announce Complete Spring Schedule
Hawaii finished the 2011 season ranked No. 5 in the final AVCA poll after advancing to the NCAA Honolulu Regional. The Rainbow Wahine won the Western Athletic Conference for the 16th time with a record of 14-0.
The Huskers last met the Cyclones on Sept. 17 at the Devaney Center where Nebraska swept Iowa State 3-0. The two teams also met during the 2011 spring season, where the Huskers swept the Cyclones at the NU Coliseum.
Nebraska had previously announced a spring match on Saturday, April 7 against North Dakota State in Norfolk, Neb., at the Cox Activities Center at 3 p.m. and a match against Wichita State on Saturday, April 14 at 5 p.m. at the NU Coliseum.
Tickets for the North Dakota State match are on sale at Northeast Community College in Norfolk. They are $10 and can be purchased on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. by calling (402) 844-7272. Both reserved and general admission tickets for the Wichita State match are currently on sale at Huskers.com, by calling the NU Ticket Office at 800-8BIGRED or by visiting the Nebraska Athletic Ticket Office in person weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Reserved tickets are $10 with GA tickets set at $8. All currently enrolled UNL students are eligible to receive one free ticket to the spring match, but must secure a ticket in advance either online at Huskers.com, by phone at 800-8BIGRED or in person at the Athletic Ticket Office located just west of Memorial Stadium, while supplies last.
