Reinertson Awarded Big Ten Sportsmanship Honor

Junior Jordan Reinertson was awarded one of 12 Big Ten Sportsmanship Awards, the conference announced Tuesday.

Reinertson, a Gibbon, Neb., native, led the Huskers at the Big Ten Championship over the weekend, tying for 28^th. He shot 308 over four rounds at the Pete Dye Course at French Lick.

The student-athletes chosen to earn the awards are individuals who have distinguished themselves through sportsmanship and ethical behavior. These student-athletes must also be in good academic standing and have demonstrated good citizenship outside of the sports-competition setting.
