Fourie, Radevica Compete in Olympic Finals
Lincoln- Former Huskers Ineta Radevica and Lehann Fourie competed in the finals of the women's long jump and men's 110 meter hurdles on Wednesday as both posted top-10 finishes.
Radevica, a seven-time All-American and NCAA outdoor triple jump champion at Nebraska, finished fourth in the women's long jump. She posted a leap of 22-7 (6.88) on her first attempt of the event final. Her mark held up in third-place throughout much of the competition until Janay DeLoach of the United States posted a leap of 22-7 1/4 (6.89) to take third.
Fourie qualified for the finals of the men's 110 meter hurdles final with a personal-best time of 13.28. He followed that performance with a seventh-place finish in the final, recording a mark of 13.53.
