Former Husker Wins U.S.A. Women's Bowling Championships

Reno, Nev. - Former Husker and 2005-06 NCAA Collegiate Bowler of the Year Lindsay Baker posted a tremendous performance at the 2012 U.S. Bowling Congress Women’s Championships, held at the National Bowling Stadium.

The native of Bringham City, Utah, posted the third-highest score in tournament history, winning the Scratch All-Events title with a 2,226 total. Baker also teamed up with two-time Junior Team USA member Elysia Current to win the Scratch Doubles, and tie for the top spot in Diamond Doubles with a score of 1,480.

Baker is the first Husker in history to win the Scratch All-Events title, and is just the fifth to win an event at the tournament.
