Sjulin attends Concordia High School and played for Douglas County West/Concordia. She batted .444 as a
senior in 2012, earning second-team Class B all-state honors from the Omaha
World-Herald. Sjulin also garnered honorable-mention All-Capital Conference accolades
and was named one of 13 players to watch in Class B prior to the 2012 season by
the Lincoln Journal Star. Following the year, she was an honorable-mention all-state selection from the Journal Star.
"We have known Lotte since she was a very young Husker fan," Revelle said. "Lotte brings an abundance of energy, intelligence and passion for the game to our team. Lotte and Nebraska softball are a great fit."
Woolman starred for four years at Lincoln Pius X High School. She posted a .470 career batting average with 39 doubles, 20 home runs, 114 runs scored and 50 walks. Woolman produced 128 RBIs in her prep career - a state record - and finished with one of the 10 best career batting averages in Nebraska high school history. Woolman hit .542 with 47 RBIs, 51 runs scored, 10 home runs, 14 doubles, 24 walks and a 1.229 slugging percentage during a standout senior season when she was named honorary captain of the Lincoln Journal Star Super State team. Woolman also earned first-team Class B all-state honors in 2012 and was honorary captain of that all-state squad. Woolman also earned first-team All-Nebraska and first-team all-state honors from the Omaha World-Herald, as she ended her career with a Class B state championship.
"Kat is a talented young lady that has taken her game to the next level in the last year," Revelle said. "We are fortunate to have Kat as a Husker. She is a driven athlete who strives for excellence in all of her endeavors."
