Husker Bowlers Earn Medals at Tournament of the Americas

Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.- Former Husker Paola Gomez and current sophomore-to-be Elise Bolton concluded a successful trip to the Tournament of the Americas Tournament held in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

In the junior female division, Bolton won a gold medal in the team and doubles events, as well as a silver medal in singles and all-events.

In the adult female division, Gomez represented team Columbia and won gold in team, doubles, and singles, while additionally winning a bronze medal in all-events. Gomez was a member of Nebraska’s 2011 national championship team.

Nebraska opens the 2012-13 season by playing host to the Big Red Invite at Sun Valley Lanes in Lincoln on Nov. 2.
