Lincoln, Neb. - Bjorn Barrefors wrapped up competition at the Swedish Championships over the weekend, participating in the long jump and men's 110 meter hurdles.
Barrefors competed in the long jump on Friday, recording a leap of 24-9 1/4 (7.55) to finish second in the A final. On Sunday he closed the competition in the men's 110 meter hurdles, finishing third in the second heat with a time of 14.50. He moved on to the final, where he posted a time of 14.81 for fifth-place.
Barrefors is a six-time All-American at Nebraska and won the 2012 Big Ten Decathlon title with a school record 7,897 points.
