Huskers Face Tough Competition at ITA All-American

Tulsa- The Nebraska men's tennis team finished up their first day at the ITA Men's All-American Championships at the University of Tulsa Saturday. They faced stiff competition in Saturdays pre-qualifying singles. 

Marc Herrmann had a bye in the first round. He went on to play Stefan Vinti (18) of Mississippi State in the second round Saturday, and was defeated 6-4, 6-3.  Nebraska's Sebastian Florczyk also had a bye in the first round. He lost in the second round to TCU's Arnau Dachs (22) 6-0, 6-2. NU's Andre Stenger had a bye in the first round; he went on to face Ohio State's Constantin Christ (21) and fell 3-6, 6-0 6-3. 

 The Huskers Will go on to compete in the backdraw on Sunday. Results will be posted to at the end of the day.

(18) Stefan Vinti (MSU) def. Marc Herrmann (NU) 6-4, 6-3
