Divers Finish Day One of Zone Competition
Three Huskers competed in the one-meter dive on Monday morning in Minneapolis

Minneapolis, Minn. - Anna Filipcic took 18th in the one-meter dive, as the Huskers finished the first day of competition at the Zone D Diving Meet on Monday morning at the University of Minnesota's Aquatic Center.

Filipcic (290.35), Nicole Schwery (262.70) and Payton Michaud (258.20) were the three Huskers who competed in Monday's one-meter dive preliminaries. Schwery and Michaud claimed 19th and 21st, while Filipcic earned 11th to advance to finals. The freshman would later finish 18th on aggregate scores. 

One-Meter Diving Results (Best of Two Rounds)
18th - Anna Filipcic, 290.35
19th - Nicole Schwery, 262.70

21st - Payton Michaud, 258.20

The Husker divers will compete at the second day of the zone diving competition on Tuesday, with the three-meter dive beginning at 4:30 p.m. Check back in to Huskers.com for updates.
