Huskers Secure Eight Bids for NCAA Indoor Championships

The NCAA Track and Field Committee released its list of accepted entries into the 2013 NCAA Indoor Championships on Monday evening. A total of eight Huskers will compete at the national meet this weekend.

Representing the Huskers will be Oladapo Akinmoladun in the men's 60 meter hurdles, Ricco Hall, Dexter McKenzie, Christian Sanderfer and Janis Leitis in the men's 4x400 relay, James White in the high jump, Patrick Raedler in the long jump, Leitis in the long and triple jumps and Mara Griva in the long and triple jumps.

The 2013 NCAA Indoor Championships are set to start on Friday, March 8 at 10 a.m. and will continue on Saturday, March 9 at 11 a.m. On Friday, ESPN3 will have a live stream starting at 5:30 p.m. CT and will pick up the live stream on Saturday at 6 p.m. Early portions of the meet not covered by ESPN3 will be streamed at beginning with the start of competition each day. A tape-delay of the broadcast will air on March 17 at 6 p.m. on ESPNU.
