Filipcic Concludes NCAA Championship Diving
Minneapolis, Minn. - Anna Filipcic placed 22nd in the three-meter dive, concluding her competition at the NCAA Championships on Friday afternoon at the University of Minnesota's Aquatic Center.
After tallying a score of 313.65 in the preliminary round, Filipcic claimed her second 22nd-place finish of the championships. Big Ten Champion Maggie Keefer of Minnesota took 10th in the prelims with a score of 338.55. Filipcic edged Keefer in the zone diving competition for a spot at the national meet.
Filipcic began competition at the NCAA Championships on Thursday, competing in the one-meter dive. The freshman took 22nd in the event, recording a score of 267.00 in the preliminary round.
