NU Debuts at No. 20 in NCAA RPI, No. 4 in Region

Lincoln - The Nebraska soccer team, who is currently on a four-game win streak, appeared at No. 20 in the first NCAA RPI rankings of 2013 announced Monday afternoon. The Huskers are one of four Big Ten teams in the Top 20.

Nebraska also vaulted up the NSCAA Great Lakes Regional Rankings going from being unranked all the way to No. 4.

NU is currently 6-2-1 on the season after a thrilling 2-1 come-from-behind victory over No. 14 Denver at home on Sunday. Earlier in week, the Huskers dropped MSU 1-0 in front of a nationally-televised audience to open Big Ten action.

Nebraska will attempt to record its first road victory of the year this weekend with a pair of Big Ten Conference battles at Northwestern and Illinois.
