Treyz Ends Singles Run at Big Ten Indoor

Beau Treyz saw his singles run at the 2013 Big Ten Indoor Singles Championships come to an end in the quarterfinals with a loss to Indiana's Dimitrjie Tasic on Sunday morning in West Lafayette, Ind.

Treyz, who entered Sunday's match in the hunt for his second Big Ten Indoor title of the weekend after teaming with Marc Herrmann for a doubles crown on Saturday, fell to Tasic, 6-1, 6-3. Tasic added a semifinal win over Northwestern's Strong Kirchheimer on Sunday afternoon to advance to Monday's championship match against Purdue's Mark Kovacs.
