Huskers in Puerto Rico Update

Three former Huskers are continuing their volleyball careers by playing professionally in Puerto Rico. Hannah Werth and Lauren Cook play for the Bayamon Club, while Gina Mancuso plays with the Ponce Club.

In recent action, Mancuso scored 26 points in helping Ponce to a four-set win over Carolina on Feb. 5. As Ponce took on Mayaquez on Feb. 8, she posted 18 points. Ponce then recorded a four-set win over Juncos as Mancuso aided the team with 20 points.

Werth notched a team-high 20 points for Bayamon as they beat Carolina in five sets, while Cook tabbed 15 assists and 14 digs. Werth tallied 13 points for Bayamon in a three-set loss to Caguas on Feb. 9, as Cook handed out eight assists.
