Collura Finishes at NCAA Championships

Indianapolis, Ind. – Taryn Collura finished competition at the NCAA Championships on Saturday at the IUPUI Sports Complex. The sophomore competed in both the 50- and 100-yard freestyles at the meet for the Huskers.

Collura’s first NCAA Championships began with a 33rd-place finish in Thursday’s 50-yard freestyle preliminaries. Her time of 22.62 seconds was two tenths of a second off her career best of 22.42 seconds set at this season’s Big Ten Championships.

On Saturday Collura concluded competition in the NCAA Championships with the 100-yard freestyle preliminaries. Collura earned a 56th-place finish in the event with a time of 50.08 seconds.
