The Nebraska bowling team will conclude its 2012-13 season this weekend at the Music City Classic, held in Nashville, Tenn. The tournament will be hosted by Vanderbilt University and will feature a 28-team field, 17 of which are ranked in the top 20 in the country. The tournament begins Friday at 9 a.m. and will conclude Sunday at 8:30 a.m. (CT)
With such a large field competing this weekend, Head Coach Bill Straub hopes the team will be prepared for the long days of competition, and noted there will be plenty of time for the team to rest before the NCAA Championship on April 11-14.
“There are a lot of great teams that are going to be there. Friday and Saturday will be long days of competition. “Straub said, “I believe we have had good preparation for the long days. Spring break is next week so the team can rest then.”
