Jordan Larson-Burbach continues play with Dinamo Kazan in the Russia Super League. The team concluded the regular season in first place and then swept its best-of-three quarterfinal round series wth Tyumen. In the opening match on April 10, Kazan posted a 25-20, 25-18, 19-25, 25-22 victory. Larson-Burbach notched 14 points in the victory. Kazan ended the series on April 14 with a 28-26, 25-16, 27-25 victory to advance to the semifinal round with matches on April 22, 23, 27 and if needed April 28 and May 1. Larson-Burbach had nine points int he second quarterfinal match.

Nancy Metcalf is playing for Igtisadchi Baku of the Azerbaijan Super League in 2012-13. Igtisadchi defeated Lokomotiv Baladzhary 25-19, 25-14, 25-10 on April 11 to take a two-point advantage in the leaque standings over third-place Azerrail. Igtisadchi collected a 25-12, 25-16, 25-10 victory over Telecom to cement second place with 45 points.

In other action in Puerto Rico, Gina Mancuso tallied a match-high 19 points in leading Ponce to a three-set win over Caguas on April 8. Lauren Cook posted 28 assists in leading Bayamon to a four-set win over Corozal on April 9. Mancuso then recorded 20 points in Ponce's four-set come-back win over Guaynabo on April 10. Cook was credited with 18 assists in a five-set loss to Mayaquez on April 11. Mancuso posted 16 points all on kills in pacing Ponce to a three-set win over Guaynabo on April 12, she then recorded 20 points for Ponce in an upset loss to Humacao.
