By NU Athletic Communications

Lincoln - On Friday afternoon the Big Ten Network announced that it has used one of its four “Wildcard” slots to broadcast Nebraska baseball’s regular-season finale on Saturday, May 18 with the Michigan Wolverines live on BTN. The announcement marks the fourth time that the Huskers will be shown on BTN this season and it will be the 12th TV game for the Huskers this year.

The game between Nebraska and Michigan was scheduled for 1:05 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, but will be moved up one hour to 12:05 p.m. to accommodate the live TV window. It will be the final game of a three-game series between the two teams that begins on Thursday, May 16. It will be the final regular-season game for both teams in 2013, with both squads expected to be battling for a spot in the Big Ten Tournament.

The Huskers will honor eight members of their senior class prior to the game against the Wolverines.

Nebraska opens play this weekend with No. 16 Indiana tomorrow night at Hawks Field, with first pitch scheduled for 6:05 p.m. The game will be shown nationally on BTN.
