The Nebraska women's tennis team's roster just got bigger. Coaches Scott Jacobson and Hayden Perez successfully recruited Lisa Andersson, who signed her National Letter of Intent to join the scarlet and cream.

Andersson, a native of Varberg, Sweden, is currently ranked No. 7 nationally in her age group and No. 34 overall in Sweden. Andersson was a Swedish National Team Championship Finalist and a National Team Championship Doubles runner-up.

Head Coach Jacobson is pleased with the news and looks forward to the Huskers future with Andersson on the squad.

"We are very excited to have Lisa joining our Husker family," Coach Jacobson said. "We believe she has the ability to have an immediate impact on the success of our program.  Lisa is a tremendous tennis player and a wonderful person as well.  I am confident she will represent our Husker family and University with tremendous Class throughout the course of her career”.
